yesterday i had to stand around and listen to people discussing how no one wants a “loose” woman to have sex with, and then continue to mention how someone would only want anal sex with their female bodied partner if the vagina was “loose”.

there are a few things i took from this conversation, and there are a few things i want all of you to know.

first of all, this conversation basically tells me that all i’m good for is the tightness of my vagina. this is offensive. this also tells me that when my vagina no longer does its’ job, my partner “has the right” to move onto the next orifice, because we all know that sexual pleasure revolves only around those with a penis.

it also tells me that many people with vaginae internalize this misogyny, perpetuate it, and make it acceptable and therefore “true” in our society, which is heartbreaking.

i am so sick and tired of sexuality and pleasure being so phallocentric, and i also did not have the spoons nor the energy yesterday to tell these people that the lies they are spreading is harmful and disturbing.

now, onto some of the stuff i want you to know.

a quick google search of “does the vagina become loose over time?” will get you many, MANY results, mostly consisting of:

• women complaining that their men called them loose (of course sending the girlfriend into a frenzy about the apparent uselessness of her body now), 
• doctors trying to make money with they “vaginal tightening creams”,
•  women talking about the “husband stitch” (a disgusting violation of anyone with a vagina), 
• information concerning the relationship between multiple vaginal births and resulting “looseness” which of course makes it sound as though the vagina is a gaping hole after childbirth
• not to mention the “surgery recommendations” for tightening up that pussy!!!

this information is primarily distributed because it is the kind of information that makes people with vulvas worry and fret about their bodies, it is destructive, it is harmful, and it has us believing it to be true.

what i want to tell you all right now is the vaginae do not become useless after childbirth, multiple partners, sex with a large cock, etc.

these are lies that are told to us to make us self conscious and worried. these lies are working.

what i need everyone to know is that the vaginal canal is amazing. it is flexible. it is strong. it can stretch, clench, push, whether it be during orgasm, sex, childbirth, kegel exercises. 

the vagina is an amazing thing.

it is made to accommodate large things, whether it be a large cock or a child. THIS IS ITSELF MEANS THAT THE VAGINA IS PREPARED TO BE FLEXIBLE. it can stretch. and it does.

this does NOT MEAN that vaginae become gaping holes afterwards. to say so is ill informed, irresponsible, and misogynistic. 

people do not give cunts enough credit for all the wonderful things it is capable of, and i am tired of people claiming that it is just a hole to be thrusted into.

it is so, so much more than that.

this problem is one of my least favorite things
